Vol. 1 No. 2 (2024): Journal of Islamic Law and Legal Studies
Journal of Islamic Law and Legal Studies is a peer-reviewed, open-access academic journal dedicated to advancing research on Islamic law through interdisciplinary perspectives that connect Sharia principles with contemporary legal, economic, and social issues. Volume 1, Number 2 (2024), available online from 28 December 2024, features 5 original research articles authored by 16 scholars from 3 countries, including Indonesia, Pakistan, and Turkey. This issue highlights contemporary discussions on Islamic legal perspectives, including stock market speculation, alternative dispute resolution in donation-based crowdfunding, halal supply chain integration, certification standards, and Maqasid al-Shariah perspectives on emerging social issues. By exploring the interaction between classical Islamic legal principles and modern challenges in finance, industry, and society, Volume 1, Number 2 (2024) contributes valuable insights into the development of responsive, ethical, and contextual Islamic legal studies in the contemporary era.
